Welcome to my website.

It has been an honor and a privilege to serve you as your Erie County Sheriff for the past six years. I was elected at a time when we suffered a substantial loss of personnel but we did the best we could under extremely trying circumstances.

Now, in 2011, we are facing another difficult budget year not withstanding the loss of more than two dozen employees who opted to retire at the end of last year. It has been said that the accomplishments of a true professional should be judged by how well they perform with the resources available at the current time. That is certainly true in the criminal justice field.

But as we face new challenges, we will continue earning the public trust bestowed upon us by providing high quality, cost-effective law enforcement, making our communities a safer place in which to live, work and raise a family. Please remember that public safety is a cooperative effort. We need the public's help and input. Please remember: "If you see something, say something".

Again, thank you for your continued support, as no community is so large and powerful that it can accomplish everything on its own and none is too small to make a difference. We all need to work together. Please feel free to peruse my website and become involved in my campaign.
